It is with great pleasure to introduce myself as the New Medical Director for Castle Family Health Centers.  I intend to coordinate every aspect of your health care needs and I will ensure that it is provided, not only professionally, but with the highest quality of health care.   As the Medical Director, I will be responsible for improving the standard of medical care and the coordination in the delivery of medical services.  Our team of highly trained medical professionals of primary care physicians, specialists, mid-level practitioners and clinical support staff will see to it that you receive the utmost attention and compassionate care.

I have received extensive training in internal medicine and pediatrics from Morristown Memorial Hospital, affiliated with University of medicine and dentistry in New Jersey. There I completed my 2 residencies. I graduated from Cairo University School of Medicine in Egypt in 1986.

I am a diplomat of both the American board of Internal Medicine as well as the Pediatric Board.  I have a strong affiliation with the Mercy Hospital in Merced, where I reside as the Chairman of the Internal Medicine Department. I am also a member of the Merced Mariposa Medical Society.

As a local resident of the community, I have a unique understanding of the community and the healthcare needs.  I plan to foster and improve relationships with the local community agencies. In the process, I intend to establish partnerships in order to promote wellness for all the people living in Merced County and the surrounding communities, with special attention to the families who are low-income, underserved and the most at risk.
